View of the Zupa Valley, Kosovo, facing towards the northwest. This photo was taken 2 March 2002, before the trees started getting their leaves. The Zupa Valley is a high mountain valley near the border with the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
Streoska, Kosovo is an abandoned village in the Zupa Valley. The residents fled during the war, in 1998 and 1999 and have not returned. The village is now guarded by German troops from MNB(S).
